I’m writing this post after postponing the launch of this website for the 10th time. Again there were things not good enough and things were not working the way I wanted. I was getting tired of all the problems and because I lost focus, my mind went open for the thought: “Why The Hell Did I Start This Business???”
Do these words ever cross your mind when struggling in your business and you have to handle all the stress? Especially when you’re about to start a new business or new project. Well, they cross my mind a few times a day when things aren’t going the way I planned them.
Happily, I learned to switch my mind and start replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. It really keeps me going.
I advise you to do the same.
When you feel overwhelmed and ready to quit, think of all the trouble you already went through. Think of all the beautiful things ahead of you. But most of all, think about your purpose. The reason WHY you all started this. All the people you are going to serve and all the problems you are going to solve. All of this is not going to happen if you let the thought of quitting dominate.
You have to decide what to do with these negative thoughts. You either give in and quit what you started or you get rid of those thoughts immediately. When I talk to people who are considering to start a business, I always mention that you’re going to deal with doubt and demotivation. When that time comes, there are 3 things you have to remember:
So despite all the craziness and stress, for me, there’s no second-guessing. My WHY is very clear! I want to make a difference in the world by doing business. And I cannot do that by quitting. You reading this post means I didn’t give up and I overcame the problems with this website. It was launched and is now doing what it’s supposed to do... Inspire you to be or become a great conscious entrepreneur.
Well, I’m curious to know how you handle doubt. I would love to hear all about it. Please leave a message below to inspire me and the other readers of this post.
Grace & Gratitude,
Erica
